	William J. (Bill) Heestand, CLU, RPP Bill brings over 20 years of experience in helping companies create competitive benefits packages. Over the years he has fine-tuned a unique perspective when assisting employers with benefits analysis, design, and funding alternatives. Bill’s capacity to create solutions for our client's needs exceeds industry norms. Bill joined the firm in 1985 and purchased the company from its founder in 1992. As the owner of The Heestand Company he leads the firm with integrity and passion.
Steve Altishin Steve Altishin is the primary service contact for all health and welfare client relationships. For larger employer groups, Steve works right alongside the client’s HR Department offering his knowledge, creativity and perspective. For many smaller employer groups who may not have a dedicated Human Resource person, Steve delivers personal service. In all cases, Steve’s forte is providing close personal attention and assisting our clients in administering the program of benefits. Before joining us in 2008, Steve managed a prominent bonding insurance agency and prior to that practiced Law.
	Mary Martinis, AIF Mary brings her know-how as an Employee Benefits Consultant to our clients. In addition, leading and managing our  401(k) employee education, she is in direct communication with your greatest asset, your employees. Mary graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Economics and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. Through Mary’s continuing education and professional licensing, she brings innovation and ingenuity to the firm, making her an integral part of our team.
